We love our
food here in Wales. We’re on countdown to our very own food Oscars -
Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards and there are some fabulous food festivals to get you in the mood.
Tantalize your taste buds at
Llangollen Food Festival this weekend where you can enjoy live cookery classes and take part in the Real Ale Trail and discover local beers. There’s also some great food and drink in the local producers market.
The
10th anniversary Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards will take place on October 20
th at Venue Cymru, Llandudno. The Awards were established to celebrate and highlight excellence in the food, drink and hospitality sectors, and create awareness of the quality and range of produce and services in Wales.
Taste Dolgellau also takes place this weekend (15th - 17th October) in Snowdonia, North Wales, celebrating Wales' newest food festival. In the shadow of the dramatic Cadair Idris mountain range and Mawddach Estuary, there’s a choice of over 28 gastronomic events to satisfy your cravings.
