International radio show promotes best of new Welsh music
The Selector, a weekly radio programme playing the best new British music for a global audience, has joined forces with the organisers of Swn festival, to bring Wales to the world.
On 27th February, Cat le Bon and Y Niwl will perform in Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff. The Selector will broadcast tracks recorded on the night on its show which is broadcast in 11 countries to an audience of over 1 million per week.
Presented by DJ Goldierocks and produced on behalf of the British Council, the Selector represents all that is exciting and original in British music right now. No other radio show plays such an eclectic mix of new UK music; you'll find everything from indie to electro and folk to funky on the Selector. The show also features artist interviews, guest DJ mixes and exclusive live studio sessions from the best new bands every week. The new show is available for streaming every Saturday morning GMT and you can also access an archive of shows, sessions, interviews and mixes.
